David Nakabayashi is an artist living and working in New York since 2013. His artwork includes painting, plein air, works on paper, sculpture, ceramics, video and music. As a contemporary creator David explores themes of displacement, isolation, power, societal and environmental change, ancestry, war and beauty. As a plein air painter he captures the natural and urban landscape as he sees it, in the moment. He has produced and exhibited artwork across the country including New York, New Mexico, Utah, Michigan and Texas.
